Electronics
In this section we learned about electrical concepts. We started the section by learning about circuits and how they worked. Our teacher gave a us a packet to work on which had many tasks that we had to complete. These tasks showed us about parallel and series circuits and about what makes a circuit work. When we had a good understanding of circuits, we started learning about breadboards.
Breadboards have a very intimidating appearance due to their holes. But, when you learn how to work them they become very fun.
Once we had the breadboards figured out the we were introduced to resistors. Resistors control the amount of current that flows through the circuit. We then learned how to program the breadboard using coding and make it work as pleased. There are different light pattern that you can create or you can use the default light patterns. The YouTube video below is the project that Camille and I turned in as our final creation.

Concepts
circuit- complete loop of conductive material from one end of the power source to the other
current- the "flow" of electricity
voltage- the " push" of electricity
resistance- material that reduces the flow of electrical current
Ohms Law- voltage= current x resistance
Kirchhoffs Laws
Current Law- the sum of the currents going into a connection must equal the sum of the currents leaving the connection
Voltage Law- the sum of voltages around a circuit must be equal to zero
parallel- a closed circuit in which the current divides into two or more paths before recombining to complete the circuit
series- a closed circuit in which the current follows one path
breadboard- a board for making models of electrical circuits
Arduino pins- pins to complete circuits on an Arduino Board
programming- the process of writing computer programs

Reflection
I became very close with my group during this project. The communication and time management that went on during this project was incredible. We communicated our ideas clearly to each other which made it easier to complete our project in a restricted amount of time with extra time to practice. Some things that didn't go so well was the creativity of our projects and the effort of the packets. It was fun to complete this project with my friends but it distracted me as well. I learned that I can cooperate with my friends while staying focused. Something I need to work on is my effort on the packets that we do. I stay focused and fully complete the packets next time. Two pits were the effort and focus. Two peeks were the final projects and our group cooperation.
